Facial Exercises
Facial exercises are an
important part of your
anti-aging program. You
work out to tone your
body, why not do exercises to tone your face as well?
Exercise
One-Cheek
Area
1.
Tilt your
head back slightly, and let your mouth
fall open. Allow
your jaw to drop as far
as it will go.
2.
Move your lower
jaw forwards and upwards.
Your lower
teeth and lip should cover your upper teeth and lip.
I know, it looks strange but you should be
feeling your facial muscles working.
The
front of your neck and under your chin should feel taut.
3.
While holding this
position, smile slowly. Hold
your smile
for a count of five. You
will probably
feel a pulling sensation on the insides of your cheeks and across your
cheek
bones.
4.
Very slowly
release your smile while bringing your jaw down to its normal position. Do not let your face snap
back quickly.
For
maximum effectiveness, perform this
exercise slowly and repeat 3 times per day.
Exercise
Two-Mid
Face & Cheek Area
1.
Sit facing
forward, chin up, shoulders squared.
2.
Place index finger
gently on chin creating some resistance.
3.
Open your mouth
slowly and tighten your lips so they roll in over your teeth. Start to tighten
your entire mid face
by lowering your
jaw and tightening as
you open slowly.
Repeat 3 times per day.
Be sure to keep your neck toned
with exercises as well!
