You can easily make your hair shine while helping your color last longer with items you probably have in your cabinet right now!  

This is a trick I learned years ago while training to be an aesthetician.  It is simple and inexpensive to do at home.  You can use a shampoo that has a vinegar base or you can make your own hair rinse which works better I believe.  Simply mix a teaspoon of apple cider vineger with one cup water and pour into a spray bottle.  Once a week, after shampooing (preferrably with a shampoo for color treated hair) simply spray all over hair and rinse.  You can apply a conditioner now if that is what you normally do.  The vinegar locks in hair color and gives hair shine by closing down the hair shaft.
