has been
considered a luxury throughout the years and was a royal treatment used
by
Cleopatra. The
following recipes are
used by spa professionals and now you can make them at home to enjoy

in a beautiful jar
they make wonderful gifts.

You can make large batches at once-just be
sure to store in a cool, dry place.
Place 2 cups of powdered whole milk in a
container. Wrap
your scent ingredient in cheese cloth
and add to the powdered milk. Using
the
cheese cloth makes it easier to remove the ingredient when it is done. Seal the container tightly
and let it set for
2 days. Common
scent ingredients
include: 2 cinnamon
sticks, 2
tablespoons of anise seeds or cardamom, 1 vanilla bean, 3 tablespoons
of orange
zest, or 5 cloves.
